A stronger and more supple horse through groundwork and work in hand

Groundwork and work in hand are incredibly valuable for the horse.
When you start with groundwork and work in hand, your horse is given the time to develop and find its balance without having to carry the weight of a rider.

Through groundwork and work in hand, you develop a completely different bond with your horse; your horse will focus on you more and more and will cooperate with you, allowing you to truly become a team.
You will develop your own feel and also learn to communicate with your horse through body language. As you begin to master this, you will notice that everything becomes much more effortless and that you can work with very small, refined aids.
Through groundwork and work in hand, your horse is gymnasticized and becomes increasingly agile, supple, and flexible, allowing it to travel with better balance.
Because the horse does not have to carry any rider weight, it is much easier for the horse to execute the requested exercises.
By the time you start asking for these exercises under saddle, your horse will have already developed the necessary muscles and will be much stronger; furthermore, he will already know the exercises.

Groundwork and work in hand are for every horse.

Whether you have an old horse, a young horse, a stiff horse, a spoiled horse, a rehabilitating horse, or a Shetland pony, a Haflinger, or a sport horse—it does not matter. You will see how much they benefit from this and how much fun it is to do.
