What is submission in horses?
Is a nice light connection between the rider’s hand and the horse’s mouth. Through the reins you have a nice light connection with your horse and you can communicate with your horse.
A horse is irritable when it loosens in the jaws, neck and entire spine.
If the horse is not complacent, this is a sign that there is tension somewhere in the horse’s body. The reins will therefore not feel relaxed.
For example, the horse may use its back and abdominal muscles or its hindquarters incorrectly.
So indulgence tells us a lot about the horse, so the horse’s mouth is an indicator.
